10/05/2007 New Four Axis Machine
Focus-sb engineering is committed to continued improvements in both our production techniques and our quality. To this end we have just purchased a new four axis machining centre.
This machine with the addition of a 4th axis will enable us to machine more complex shapes and profiles, also reducing the cost of fixtures by being able to machine more operations without re-loading the machine.
Our new machine also has a high speed spindle that can run at 12,000 rpm. This will allow us to cut certain materials at much faster feed rate therefore reducing total machining times and therefore costs.
